UK trademarks must be renewed every 10 years from the filing date. Renewal costs £200 for one class plus £50 for each additional class. If you miss the renewal date, you have a 6-month grace period (with a late fee).
EU trademarks (EUTMs) registered at EUIPO are also valid for 10 years. The renewal window opens 6 months before expiry, with a 6-month late renewal grace period after expiry. Renewal fees are set by EUIPO.
